It's been a while since I've spoken to any of you so please feel free to comment or shout me or note me or anything! How are you all doing? Hope everything is well with everyone ^.^ <33
Some small updates on what's happening with me:
As I mentioned on my most recent wolf studies, I've been doing some tough warehouse work for a while to try and cover my rent... it's hard being a student ;_; But my stint at the place is coming to an end so hopefully I should have more time to myself to paint now! After all the work I've done I've seriously considered opening commissions... I know I'm not that great yet but do you guys think it's possible? Obviously I'm not looking for huge income or anything (I wish I was that good ;;;___;;;) but a few commissions here and there? Again I'm pretty new to this whole thing so I wouldn't even know where to start, but I suppose I can figure that out once I've made a firm decision.
But yeah, let me know how y'all are anyways! I haven't really made any plans to meet with any of my friends because I've been so busy, so it's been a pretty lonely summer for me... It'd make me really happy to be able to talk to some of you guys a little bit!! ^_^

I'm glad you're going to have more time for painting - I currently have the opposite issue cos I recently picked up a summer job :v

Ahaha, it's nothing interesting, just a regular ol' shop assistant thing! But hey, it means I'll have some extra cash... which will probably go straight into the black hole that is rent ;-;
And indeed, rent is quite the black hole ;_; I hope the job isn't too stressful though! Best of luck, please let me know how you get on
Hmm, commissions would be a good idea. I'd be interested in a little something if you decide to offer some. ^^ It's certainly worth it if it's something you enjoy.

and heck yea, the shift from work you do to get by to the work you care about is wonderful. especially when it's tough manual labor that you're really not built for. that's a little heartbreaking. i'm glad you hung in there, your work is lovely and i'm excited to see where it goes :>
