Frosty Returns Review
Peanuts meets Frosty the Snowman!
From the company that brought to us the Peanuts specials and the first 2 Garfield specials, comes a painfully boring, shallow, and idioticy special featuring FROSTY THE SNOWMAN.
THE GOOD:
The animation is still unchanged, like most other Lee Mendelson-Bill Melendez specials, but is good, and simple.
THE BAD:
Ok, what's with the designs? They looked more like Charles Schulz designed them! First, the designs are mediocre, especially that nerdy boy looked like Marcie and Peppermint Patty's brother-in-law. Second, the designs looked more like the designs from the 'Peanuts' comics, and it felt like, what I've said before, that Charles Monroe Schulz designed them. The music is bearly (at times) repetitive, with a few BGM looking out-of-place. And, there are TWO lines of dialouge that make no sense.
In overall, this bland and wonky sequel to a classic Rakin/Bass cartoon, is TWO of Lee Mendelson-Bill Melendez Productions' wonkiest fails, first being 'It's the Girl in the Red Truck, Charlie Brown!'. Skip this wonky special, and put the Rakin/Bass one, or, put the PEANUTS christmas specials, for more holiday fun!

55% F+
