Horton Hears a Who! by Dr. Seuss Review
A person is a person, no matter how small, that this movie rocks, and so are we dock and laugh with Horton and the Whos!
A sweet trip down memory lane, that this is the kind of movie Dr. Seuss fans are asking! This was a box success!
THE GOOD:
The animation is super neat, for starters, and the 2D animation on Horton's imagination where he's fighting monkeys and going as fast as lightning to Mount Nool is so superb, that keeps the best english anime dubs. The music is heartwarming, and not as creepy as the Gene Deitch Tom and Jerry cartoons, especially that awesome song near the end. The music also fits the action, too. The voice acting is great to dazzling. Jim Carrey is great as Horton, and he didn't ruin the character, since Mike Myers had destroyed The Cat in the Hat as a crude, vomiting, belching, and biliah character. The film nostalgically keeps the comedic plot of the book. And there's no potty humor after all.
THE BAD:
There's a few scenes that don't make sence.
In overall, this nostalgic film keeps the witty plot of the book, it's dazzingly animated, keeps the Dr. Seuss rhyming, beautifully voice acted, and keeps the message: 'A Person is a Person, No Matter How Small'. Worth watching and i'll highly recommend it.
