Hey, I'm back, and alive!
So, the past few days have been hectic, tense, and fun all at once, spiced with a sense of awkwardness and a chance to be more myself. So yeah... it's been weird.
Basically, I have finally moved into college. Properly. My roommate's good; he's bi and fully understands my being trans and all of furry and all of that, but he's a car nut to the max (Which can be annoying, haha). And so, we're trying to get used to living at Unity college.
We also went on the NOVA trip, which was five days of camping, and my first time out. Mine was about Yoga and Meditation, so it was interesting- and it was all girls! Yay. <3 Only two actually knew I was trans tho, but one eventually became a close friend of mine (We even came from the same high school and had mutual friends, surprisingly!), and she's even offered to help me with all the girl things, show me some lotions, shaving tips, ect.
The trip itself tho, was fun. We went out to tons of beaches, including the easternmost point in America; all it was was just a stubby, short lighthouse with a tiny museum bolted on. But the park around it was great with massive cliffs, lots of smooth rocks, and all sorts of other interesting things. Yoga and Meditation was in there somewhereabout.
Also, on the way there, our van broke down two hours out and we ended up doing yoga, games, and making food in a parking lot of a closed autoshop. We also met a fat dog that we eventually named Meatlog, tehehe. Never knew his actual name.
We also eventually met a friendly bulldog named Jeana who was a rescue dog and now a therapy dog who was super excited to see us, and even gave dog hugs! (Front legs over your shoulders and licks all over the face. So great! ^^)
But eventually, we did get back. College has been interesting. Wifi was a bitch to get on my computer- had to install several programs, remove my antivirus to install their's, and a few other things including three restarts. Took two fucking hours. Works tho!
But I'm also stranded, for now, on an all male floor. I shouldn't be here. It almost makes me ill, seeing these super-masculine men around me who just walk around with no shirts showing off their six-packs and shit... ugh. Not to mention it's the worst dorm building by far. At least I'm finally making some progress to transitioning. Already went out and bought some tall, knee high socks and some cool fingerless knit gloves, tehehe. They're great. <3
But anyhow, it's been crazy. Gonna try to keep working towards things, keep doing art, and everything. Still working on art and writing, and part 14 of DW should be out in a few days, along with a new art piece.
How have you all been doing? I hope you've been fine. Cheers. ^^
