So, my posting of Divine Wasteland has slowed a ton; you all know that. It's been fatiguing me pretty badly; so I've decided to step away and take a break from it. When will I return? Good question. Either when a publisher gives a damn about book 1 or when my break project is done.
Yeah, break project. Yumi's had a few updates that aren't very posted here; I should talk about them more. but slowly, over time, she's shifted to something much more koboldish, really, and I've decided to take my own spin on that. And, of course, as one does, I decide to write some preliminary lore.
5500 words later Im still thwacking away at the keyboard, with maybe a little over half the lore done. Its not going to waste, trust me there! Soon, I'll be taking everyone on an adventure in a strange post-colonization alien planet, following a certain local; one of the Hebiri- strange, Koboldish like beings with a pseudo-tribal culture, an extreme ability to reverse engineer almost anything, and connections to the strange, eldrich beings living in another reality closely linked to their world of Kitaag.
And yeah, Yumi's become one of the Hebiri; scavengers in most senses of the word; but cunning, and learning to live with what the colonists left them; even in the time when the colonists left due to unexpected resource scarcity. My lore guide will be posted eventually when its complete as a handbook of sorts; should be fun.
As of other things from writing- I've been searching long and far for a job, and have a few interviews for some decent stuff so wish me luck. And... Well, I may or may not have an unfinished fursuit sitting next to me- yet another project. You'll know more once the head is done. c:
