Captains Log, Supplemental

Been a busy year so far! Got a new house, a new car and a second job to pay for the new car! Lol
Had to sell the motorcycle on trade unfortunately to get the new car. Didn't ride it enough to justify paying the yearly tags and monthly insurance. Some day I'll get another I'm sure. Anthrocon 2016 was awesome this year. Went out a week before the con and explored Pittsburgh. I'm pretty sure we were the first ones there this year lol. Visited the zoo, rode the ducky tours (CHEESY but fun and informative if you ever wanted to learn about Pittsburgh, cause ya know, some of us think of it as home) We stayed until after the 4th of July, was nice to see the fireworks down by the river again, sitting under the convention center <3 Met some great people this year, had a blast with old friends that I've actually not had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with in the past. Walked away with stronger friendships and some new ones. Never a bad way to end a great convention. Didn't get to suit as much as I wanted again, but that was my own fault. Between two wonderful nights of food poisoning during the con (Not the best way to maintain your weight) and trying to see as much as possible just didn't have the time. It was worth it though!
Finally hit 100 pounds of total weight loss. Been a long damn road, but so worth it. Looking back, losing all that weight was both easy and difficult. Easy in the respect that once you've decided to say screw it, I need to change, it's easy to change. Hard in the respect of actually holding to it, because each day in the beginning was absolute hell.
