Hmm, it certainly looks pretty good! You could test out how the tones work on the shadows, I think they'll look pretty good considering it's a greyscale comic! And considering how easy it is to add them!

To do so, go to the shading layer, right click, new layer, and tones ( I have it in spanish, it's the fifth option). Then you can just play around with the settings to see which one fits better =3 Usually there are two kinds, one for characters, and other for background, but yeah ^^

As for fonts... Laffayette is a pretty good one! Also made himself a pretty good looking font too! You can always google around for more fonts, check out and see which ones you like the most!

Hm. I'm not gonna mess around with tones right now for this comic, but I do need to learn how to use speed lines and whatnot. Like how to make some black and some white.

Also speaking of tones, is it possible to DRAW with the tones to add shading?

You could Shade flat shade then clipping layer the tone layer , so that the shade will have the tone....that make sense?

Hmm, I'd suggest you to reconsider, they really make stuff look much better in greyscaled comics, I mean, check Insomniac's! And as Raxki said, you can just set up the tone layer above the shading one and simply clip it, so it only appears where you're shading, tho it might get a bit confusing, tho you can always turn it on and off when needed =3
