So, I've been too quiet lately. That's because I'm back in the dumps. The car was given a judgement of 'rolling total' and the amount isn't enough to do much with. I've been on the bus, making it to work.

Anyway, I thought I'd hop on and let everyone know I'm not dead.

Funny story, had enough points at the gas station to get a free $20 Steam card. Found Arkham Knight on sale and picked it up for about $16. Installed it and it runs... barely. My aging machine isn't badass enough to run it properly... yet. After I get the car sorted out, I'm going to be pricing components for a rebuild. I'll salvage the case and probably my two large hard drives, but the smaller one will be getting replaced... as well as just about everything else. It'll be a bit of work, but I'm up to it once I have some extra money.

That said, now I truly know how it feels to be a Windows gamer. I get to play an awesome game, but I have to completely upgrade my system to make it worth playing. Ran the benchmark at several settings for giggles. At best, with lowest settings in a tiny ass window, I got 12 frames per second on average. With the settings jacked up as high as they'd go, I got 1 FPS.
