There's Dust Here

Classes are happening, exams are being taken, people are chatting. The pitter patter of life in college is continuing. There have been ups and downs, but from knowing others in college as well, everyone has them. It is fall once again and with the turning of the leaves comes football. With football my schedule becomes even more hectic as there is band practice and game-days that leave ones feet aching. Just as in football, one does not know what will happen in the next play or curve in the road. With that, one has to grab hold, prepare, and anticipate what will be around the bend. If there is one thing I have learned in college, with all of the classes I have taken in varying subjects, it is that you can't be passive in life. If you're passive your work will pile up, you'll miss out on opportunities and they will pass by, you'll be stuck with the other team scoring a touchdown because you misread the play. I'm fine, I am better off than most in this world, or simply this country, can claim to be. Tomorrow I will again go to class. Saturday I will again play for fans at a football game. Life will persist, as it always has, despite all the read options it will face.
