I am bad at this "keeping up" business, I swear...

Obligatory "I am not dead" statement here.
Now with that out of the way, in case anyone is even remotely interested, a few things:
1) It has been FOREVER since I have visited FA, and I have always been meaning to hop on and see what's new, but I just never got around to it, which sucks - I really like this community, honest. I would love to be more involved, but I have never been too good at that.
2) I think I can commit myself to hanging out here more - I sense a void staring to open amongst the bombastic changes that I have gone through over the past year or so, including college and work. I am not sure what this void is, but I can definitely feel it - a sense of something missing, like the puzzle is missing a few jigsaws. I think meeting new friends and finding my place in this community would be a great way to fill this void, but hey, only time will tell.
3) A previous journal was my "alpha" build for a joke game. Yeah, that ain't happenin'. Either I make interesting games or I don't. I don't want to limit my creativity to mediocrity masquerading as "satire." Instead, I have a more intriguing development in the works, and once I get my laptop back from the shop (rip lappy), I would very much like to develop it at least to the point of a "proof of concept build." So that's cool!
Oh, and real quick: this may not work out even though I have always wanted to, but I am going to try to keep consistently drawing more. My idea is to set up a schedule to keep me going, which has worked for me in the past on other things. How exciting!
