We finally signed a lease, and this new place is twice as nice as the previous living space for the same price. An extra big garage and a spare room too. Only one toilet though, so that might take some getting used to. But overall, a much better living arrangement.
Anyway, we are packing like crazy trying to be out of my family's old house in time before the lock-out.
So while it's not fun now, we feel at least a little peace of mind knowing that by the end of the week, we'll be in our own safe little home.
Thank you all for your commissions, donations, and kind words throughout these last very difficult months.
I should be back to work some time in early October, and will resume pinups, large queue projects, and my ongoing work on FNAB and FNAB2.

One bathroom isn't too bad, I've only had one bathroom with both my kids for the last 6 years, it's not too bad.
I guess you get more space with other stuff instead of 2 bathrooms, eh?
It will be nice to finally have our own lives.
My wife and I were house sitting for my family.
They and law officials have been going through a legal battle for years now against other government officials who have illegally seized what little my deceased mother left the family. While they have claimed that a settlement will be reached, they've been trying to shake us loose from the case with legal fees, harrassment, and pulling strings that have kept them and the law officials helping them from paying their bills. They are just one of 3 law abiding parties working on this case to lose their homes because of this abuse of authority. In the mean time, the mortgage got sold off and the new owners are evicting my family, and by extension, my wife and I.
We were moving out months ago, but the new place had brown recluses and black mold. So we had to move back, just in time to deal with my family's eviction.
