I get many people saying I should commission _______ or _______ (popular artists) but that's not my thing really. I like to help the people climbing up the ladder of artist popularity instead of further securing the top artists in their position. To me that feels less like a mutual benefit (me helping a less known artist gain popularity and me getting awesome art) and more like me whoring for watches and faves. Don't get me wrong. I love the popular artists, but I'll save them for something special. Usually commissioning at cons and such.
