Final Hurricane Update

We got lucky. The worst has passed. We lost some roof shingles if the debris around the house is to be believed but they might not all be ours. We'll bring a roofing fellow over soon enough to patch things.
Since I still have power and internet, we'll be on for Overlord Day tomorrow!

Saturday the multiplayer auctions for Kitties are going live. A quick rundown will be...
Three L4D2 multiplayer slots with me. I play Nick, I flirt with whomever gets Rochelle.
Three L4D2 multiplayer slots with Uriel. He plays Ellis and will probably do his best redneck voice.
Four Dead by Daylight slots with me. I will try to kill you.
Two Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. You will talk me through me not blowing up.
tl;dr Kitties rundown
October 29-30 starting at 12:01 AM on the 29th and ending at midnight on the 30th. A full 48 hours.
Multiple games. Not CoD for two days. No game is longer than six hours. Most are 2-4.
Prizes every hour and then some. You do not have to donate but you will need steam for most of them.
The more you donate, the crazier we get.
Fox will be on hand to draw court reporter pictures and will take requests.

And thanks for keeping us updated on how things were going. I was a bit worried, even though Fox and others explained that hurricanes in Florida are unlikely to be dangerous unless you do something really stupid.

I'm surprised they allow shingles in your state for roofing. Here roofing regs in cyclone prone areas means proper interlocking roof tiles with fixtures to the roofing trusses. Not sure what the rules are for corrugated iron, if I ever get my own home I'm getting the good interlocking concrete roof tiles, ones on my old family home just need a recoat and pointing work done after 40 odd years :).
