Companion maker

Hi guys!
This is a little guide I've set up for people to create their own companion
These are just some notes to help creation along, feel free to completely ignore all this
1. What is a companion?
To make one, you need to know what one is.
Companions have been known throughout history as many different things; spirit animals, guardian angels, ...patronus
These are all companions. Companions are little creatures which represent your very being. Your soul.
They are basically beings that follow you around, they are your companion.
They reveal themselves to their owners, or "masters," when the master needs a companion the most, be it when they're overwhelmed, depressed or simply lonely. With a companion, you're never alone.
Once someone is able to see their own companion, they can see other's ones as well!
2, Species
First off, you need to find out what your species is.
Since humans are very, very, VERY complex creatures, most companions cannot be defined by one particular animal
There are many ways to do this, but I'll just share mine
I chose animals that represent each of my 3 sides. I have my vulnerable and innocent side, represented by a rabbit. I have my aggressive and deceptive side, represented by a snake. I have my calm and lazy side represented by a cat. These 3 animals altogether represent who I am, so my companion is made from all of them.
Remember that this isn't the only method, and that your companion can look hwoever you want
This includes wings, tails, piercings, etc
3. Colours
Or, if you're American, "colors"
The colour scheme of your companion should represent you as well. If you're very outgoing and energetic, bright and bold colours should be selected. But if you're more subdued and quiet, more neutral colours would reflect this well.
Your palette can also represent your attitude, whether they're warm or cold.
For example, Asha, (my companion) is blue, yellow and orange. They are rather soft colours, as I am rather quiet in person. I am also friendly though, so she also has warmer colours, like yellow and orange. This represents me.
4. Size
Now that you know what your companion looks like, now is the time to decide how big they are
People who tend to be more quiet have smaller companions, while those with big personalities have large ones.
Size is all subjective, but to give you an idea, Asha is only 15 cm. This is because I am very quiet and socially awkward. Introverted all the way. Asha shows that.
5. Name
Possibly the hardest part of this whole process.
Picking names is never easy. And since this is your soul we're talking about, I'm not sure if a randomised search on baby names websites will cut it. But that's just me.
One technique I found that works really well is the paper one.
To do this, you need to sit in a quiet room with a pen and paper. What you need to do is place the pen on the paper and if you're going to qrite something, close your eyes, and concentrate. If you're focused hard enough, you should feel the pen being pulled across the paper. Follow these pulls, keeping your eyes closed. After a few moments have passed without a tug, open your eyes and look at your paper. It should be covered with lines. Try to find letters, symbols, anything in those lines. You might s=find something that's significant to you, but not anyone else. From there, your name should be clear,
That's not the only strategy, but it's one I used for Asha, which worked really well. I'd recommend it.
And that's about it. This is just my guide, which I personally used. Your companion is designed to be entirely yours, so feel free to ignore all this. I'm just trying to be helpful.
Have fun making your own companions!
And remember, I love seeing new companions, so post a pic nn the comments! Let me know what worked and what didn't in this guide. And have fun with it!
