not really a part of this site, but i played games with him on steam since 2009 when i met him in minecraft. his steam went dark about 9 months ago and this is the first i am hearing that he passed. on a whim i decided to google his last steam name, and as much as it sucks that a friend of 8 years is gone, i'm glad i found out somehow. thank you so much for posting this. he was always upbeat, and also always willing to hash it out with somebody over politics or similar topics either in irc or otherwise. over the last 8 years there wasen't a week where we didn't have a conversation/argument over SOMETHING, be that games or politics. we spent hours a week playing private minecraft servers that he hosted, or administrating public servers that we both put countless hours and work in to. i cant remember why, but it was there that i earned the nickname bunny-butt from him, and for better or for worse it stuck. even typing this, having just found out what happend, i still can't believe it. i must have spoken to him just before he left for the hospital, because the day after, he was gone, and his steam which was online 24/7, was suddenly offline. for anyone who only knew zana online, but still want to look at what is left online, there are lots of forums and websites with his posts on them, but the name they will be under is not zana kouriclaw, but instead is under aegiszephyr or pyriclotus. thoes are the names he used early when i knew him, and those are the names he used on irc and msg boards. it may bring others comfort looking back on the good times when he was happy and healthy as it has helped myself.

*hugs* he really touched a lot of people's lives and hearts. I miss the poor guy dearly. We lived in the same county and I got to knowing at the meets we had. He was always super sweet
