Test it out with two different YCH's at once and see which one is more beneficial to you?

If it is bought so quickly, that means there is demand for what you're doing. Have you considered a non-exclusive YCH? For example, the same pose is sold to 3 different people? This may keep the prices down for each piece, but whether that's good or bad I can't say.

I have no idea if people would object to it, if it was a pose I wanted I'd be happy to share. Just a thought.

Voted. FCFS is a fast way to get stuff, but it means people that can only check FA periodically will always miss out on your stuff.

I agree with trying both methods. I know one artist that does their YCHs as FCFS she had tried them as auctions without nearly as much success. Some of those go nearly as quickly as she can post them

Voted. Personally, I would definitely prefer auctions or another method. Especially for those of us who work, have school, timezone differences, or cannot check fa all the time, we miss out on FCFS type pieces. Though I know auctions may not appeal to everyone since sometimes the price gets higher than most are able to afford

I would say you can give both ways a shot, but I think auction is more kind to those who don't live in the same timezone or don't check FA too often during the day!

I've never liked fcfs. People who live on FA 24-7 end up commissioning the same artist over and over when fcfs is the rule.

I would say alternate from one type to the other~ And not just saying it as much because I was able to snap it up, but because it would be good for you and your selling power..!

A FCFS auction is attractive to impulse buyers, whereas an auction is attractive to those that want to try and work within their own budget. Both have their merits and appeal (mostly) to different sorts of buyers, so by doing both, you're able to attract both sets of buyers. :3
