Politics suck. All of it. It's a bunch of skeezy elites squabbling over who gets to crush who under heel. Went the majority voice goes unheeded and left unsatisfied by directly contradictory actions of their 'elected' government, there is no democracy, only a farcical show and dance to both keep the rabble contented AND at eachothers throats. Much easier to control when the serfs fight each other.
