I don't seem to have written anything here since 2014, and I've barely logged in since then. It seems only fair to give you fine folks who (for whatever reason) are still following me a bit of an update. I'll try to keep it brief, but that's not really my thing!
First up: the main reason I'm back here is that I miss you guys. There are people here who have been good friends to me over the last few years, and it's about damn time I was here for them again. I entirely understand if you've moved on now; I certainly won't be pestering anyone. But yes, I'm here.
Second: I do, to some sort of extent, still consider myself a fur. That bunny avatar isn't just some random picture of a rabbit; it's still very much me. I still have a certain interest in furry artwork, writing, music and so on. Whether I'll actually produce much new I doubt, but you never know.
That said, furry is not the major fandom centre for me it once was. That honour goes to the MLP fandom, where I feel entirely at home in a way that -- to be perfectly honest -- I never quite have done in furry. The communities overlap considerably, of course.
Finally: I'm still not a huge fan of FA, for a variety of reasons, and I don't expect to spend a lot of time here. I have a whole bunch of places to post now in the pony fandom, for one thing. But I will try to ensure that I log in a little more often than once every hrair months!
Some of my profile info is out of date now, so please bear with me while I sort that out. But hello again. It is nice to be back. =:)

I'm glad you still feel at home in the MLP fandom. I've still never really ventured over that way myself, but most of the people I've met who are involved in both that fandom and this community have seemed like pretty nice people.
I need to do much better at keeping in touch, but it's great to hear from you again and I hope you're doing well!
To be quite honest, one of the reasons I enjoy the MLP fandom so much is that its main writing site (Fimfiction.net) is streets ahead of almost anything else in terms of usability, design and community feel. I've written far more for that fandom than for anything else (even WD), and Fimfiction being so pleasant to use has a good deal to do with that.
And finally, thank you! I'm doing okay on the whole, I think. Ups and downs, but nothing out of the ordinary in either direction. I wish you the best as well, and it really is nice to be replying to you again. =:D
I may be more active as a furry than in the MLP fandom (I've only written two fanfics - "By Twilight's Last Sparkle" and "A Glimmer of Starlight"), but that doesn't mean I'm not a fan of the ponies any more. Quite the opposite, in fact - I love it more than ever!
I'm even looking at attending my first pony convention next year. I was originally planning on Bronycon, but I may go for something closer to home, like UK PonyCon. But that all depends on how things go over the next six months or so!
I didn't know you'd written any MLP fanfics! Are they publicly available? I'm assuming they're not on Fimfiction, or else I'd probably have come across them at some point. And naturally I'm very glad to know our favourite ponies still have a place in your heart. =:)
I can't speak with any experience about BronyCon, but I had a wonderful time at UK PonyCon last month and thoroughly intend to return in 2017 if possible. The one thing about UKPC is its habit of wandering around the country, so until its host city is announced (probably in the spring) it's going to be a little tricky to plan.
(Although I may have to set up an account if FimFiction before too long!)
I've only written two MLP fanfics so far - the 8,000 word "By Twilight's Last Sparkle" in 2011/2 (which I believe I sent you), and the 13,000 word "A Glimmer of Starlight" I wrote a couple of weeks ago. (Which is also the only story I've written in first-person perspective in maybe 30 years.) But I enjoy writing about the ponies too much to stop there!
And the ponies definitely have a place in my heart. I've got far too many pony plushes to suggest otherwise! And the herd continues to grow all the time!!
I'm seriously planning on going to UK PonyCon next year - wherever they hold it. I'll just need to keep an eye out for when they announce where it'll be!
