Character Bits Part 5
Seeing as how my buddy
nievelion is also going to start doing his own Character Bits journals, I've decided to make my fifth one, and we may be mentioning one another's characters in our journals to go with character bits that involve both his characters and mine. So, here we go, more random stuff about my characters, and go check Nieve's when he has his up too:
Anyone who knows Remmy thinks that all he watches on tv are horror movies and cartoons. Those who know him better know that he also likes the occasional action/adventure flick, including superhero movies. He's also very fond of cooking shows despite being way too picky an eater. And two of his absolute favorite shows are "The Golden Girls" and "Murder, She Wrote", which he adores (the former due in part due to being the only sitcom to truly make him laugh and the latter because he adores old school murder mysteries) and he will binge-watch them any chance he gets.
Mason is a handyman-for-hire, and he makes sure people know he's up for any job, 24/7. People have actually called him late night or well after midnight to fix things for them and he won't complain, because money's money, and being available at all hours makes customers trust him even more. He's actually rather fond of late night jobs, because he enjoys going to a local bakery named Loafers (managed by Nieve's snow leopard, Garrett), which opens at 5:00 AM, to get a fresh cup of coffee and goodies that have been just baked and came right out of the oven.
Wayne and Freddy are twins but are so vastly different not just in personality, but also in fashion sense. Wayne was raised mainly in the city and is now a model, so he's very into good clothes, looking stylish, hot and trendy, and he has a closet so full and varied that it puts the women on his family to shame (and it's a big family), whereas Freddy is a humble, farm-raised fellow and owns very few clothes besides overalls and socks, used to going around shirtless with just his overalls, boots or sneakers. When they hang together, Wayne always tries to get Freddy to dress up good, but usually fails, Freddy's too comfy in his simple overalls.
Cyrus is bisexual and likes men almost as much as women. But there is one type of gay man he cannot stand, and that is the kind that has this "mission" of wanting to turn bisexual and especially straight men into gay. That concept really ticks Cyrus off, and he has actually kicked guys out of bed and told them to get the hell out of his house just for being open about that kind of mentality. He has mentioned that the arrogance of wanting to change a person's sexuality for their own selfish whims just pisses him off.

I have to think Mason enjoys those late-night/early-morning jobs because such things are usually emergencies...which means the fact he's willing and able to do them must make his customers very grateful. And if those clients are women (or men, in my fantasies) who find him attractive... Also I still love that he and Garry get along so well. They really are character types who would just naturally bond and enjoy their time together. (It also helps Garry is bi, and isn't overly horny like my main guys.)
I'm not sure why (probably subtle unconscious stereotyping on my part), but I would have thought hyenas to be the ones more likely to dress casually/plainly/unstylish. So, nice subversion there! Wayne is sexy as hell, but I still think I prefer Freddy's adorable farmhand innocence (though they're both awesome in bed!).
I totally approve of Cyrus's stance of course, and agree. If a straight guy was genuinely curious, unattached, and interested in experimenting, and/or wasn't actually sure what his orientation was, that'd be a different matter, but trying to turn a guy (especially against his will) is awful, and none of my guys would ever even think of doing that. (Though Blake might fantasize about it, he'd never act on it.) Nieve especially would be as disgusted as Cyrus. Just one more reason to admire and respect your lion. A good heart and moral stance is very much a turn-on. ^_^
Yes, Mason has gotten "lucky" in those late night jobs on occasion, and it's also because at that hour, people are usually calmer and mellower due to how late it is, they're likely tired and subdued, so it's a calmer setting for Mason to work in. And correct, I've always pictured Mason and Garrett getting along great, and hmm, interesting how he's less promiscuous than your other guys tend to be...
Yeah, that may be a bit of stereotyping, I like to make any species be anything. Happy you like Wayne, we need to discuss more stuff with him. And yup, Freddy's usuall an "innocent" type, but not too innocent that he can't get pervy or smartass when he has too.
Thanks, it makes me smile to hear that. And yeah, that's a nice thing about Cyrus, but boy, he's not a cute guy when angry. If Cyrus feels he has to get nasty, he will get damn nasty indeed, not even scared to grab a guy and just bodily toss him out the door. As for Blake fantasizing about that, well, not really surprised, something about him strikes me as the one guy among yours who'd be most into wanting to let bi-curious men experiment with him.
*smirks* Naturally. And well, not all of my guys can be total horndogs. :P
Sorry about that! But yeah we do. Mmm, pervy Freddy...
I imagine not, lions are pretty scary when angry in general! And well, Blake is probably the kinkiest of my guys and the one most willing to experiment/not have inhibitions.
