I've been trying to be more talkative on the site and comment on people's things. Strike up conversation, been messaging people for trades and probably a 1/4 of the messages I send I get responses to.
Its really discouraging. Maybe I should just stick to art and try not to be too social.
Or maybe I should be social anyways and try not to be butthurt if people don't want to talk to me
If you would like to do an art trade let me know.

Hey there. I've noticed too, seems like traffic in general on FA and my furry Twitter account have both been slow since Thanksgiving too. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe just a lot of furs are just really busy? I'm around here pretty often. More so in the evenings, so feel free to give me a shout if you like. Take care!

Thanks! Yeah it could easily be people being busy for the holidays, and I know im pretty busy with college finals and work. But I like to check FA in my downtime. I assumed everyone else did, especially artists? Oh well. :3 thanks for commenting I'm glad I'm not alone in this.

Keep in mind many furries are students, college students are cramming for final projects and exams from Thanksgiving through Christmas.

True. I understand people are busy. I am one of those college students cramming for finals XD. Plus I have two part time jobs so. DX
It's just kind of a bummer that I see people commenting back to others. But maybe I just over think it.

O_O; wha... okay maybe whomever you are talking to just prefers other means of contact, are busy or just have have too much to read through? otherwise the note system on here honestly doesn't always work too well. you know by now that I am always willing to talk to people! If people would simply remember I am alive and make the effort to talk to me... I may keep myself busy most days... I always find the time to check everything message wise frequently. usually with-in a few minutes to a couple hours at most if I'm working.

Ah well I haven't sent many notes, most of this has been comments on journals or submissions.
I always try to reply to a message, even if it's just a thank you.
I know I'm not flawless at it. But I usually make it a point to try. :3

I personally only comment on those that I know will read and are friends.
But I always reply whatever comment I get <3

I see. And I understand that a lot of people on here have anxiety and are worried about talking to people. I just kinda feel like people used to be more talkative on here yknow? Thank you for commenting tho. Yall are really kinda dissproving my theory but I'm okay with that. <3

Maybe we should swap numbers before the con to meet up and stuff. I won't lie last year i had to dig real hard to remember who you were, i'm good at remembering faces that go with names but a year after meeting someone for only a few days is still pretty hard XD.
