Explosions travel many times the speed of sound.

The minimum for an explosion is about 2000 m/s and the speed of sound is 340.29 m/s

True, but the shock wave right at detonation moves out faster then the explosion itself. So it is still a good question giving his prox.

The shock wave is the explosion, it moves at the same speed of minimum 2000 m/s (I don't know the maximum), the actual fireball doesn't move at the speed of sound...unless you're dealing Nuke because that explosion moves faster than the speed of sound for many kilometers.

I thought the shockwave was what he was talking about, not the fireball. The fire of course moves slower. Been documented on high speed cam.

i mean.
granted, It's still not nearly enough to outrun the shockwave, unless he actually is awesome.

wait a second... if he went supersonic facing forewards the blood would be pushed away from his head to his feet..... he woulda blacked out.. alf the reason pilots dont black out is because the chairs are designed to make the blood spread evenly under the force..

I'm pretty sure if you could harness 3 GJ/sec of energy from something smaller than your chest, and rout that current using a wire smaller than your arm, then I'm fairly confident that you could easily spit in the face of conventional physics one more time for G forces.
