"Call Twilight Sparkle... shit's about to get magical!"
If any of you guys have Pokemon Sun, would you be willing to help me out with this.

Long story, short I have Cosmoem and I want to level it up to within one level of evolving. I want to trade it to someone with Sun who can evolve it into Solgaleo and trade it back to me.
Of course, if you need a Lunala, then I can help you with that as well since we can trade Cosmoems.
The best thing for us to do is simply have a spare Rare Candy so we won't need to grind.
Of course, if you are even AT that point in the game, let me know and I will see if we can't arrange something.

Incidentally, let us know if this actually works. Unless you got the idea from someone else who confirms that it works. I can probably get a partner with Sun and have them evolve my Cosmoem for me.

Can confirm it does work. The evolution is simply based on which game it evolves in. Should work with even the likes of Lycanroc, too. If you wanted the opposing variant.

Awesome. I think the main thing here is just wanting the legendary to keep our trainer ID for sentimental purposes.

Yeah, s'what I mean exactly. It should be very doable, since the game shouldn't care which version it came from, just which version it evolves in.
