BUY ME A TREE!....an x-mas poem

So I was at wal-mart
Waiting in the line
Behind some other shoppers
Simply wasting time
In the garden shop
Looking at the leftover crap
In the form of ratty fake trees
And offensively ugly gift wrap
But on the door to the outside
Where they kept the live x-mas trees
I saw a sign that said
“$16 bucks for one of us, please”
A small sale from their original price
And so many to be found
I simply got to thinking
How nice it’d be to have another around…
I got a slew of extra ornaments
And lights I never use
That would be simply happy on a tree
Seems like a fun thing to do!
But so many x-mas things Simba has gotten me
(he’s really broken the bank)
I don’t want to be overly greedy
And ask for more Christmas swank
So I’m coming to you out there
In the hopes you’ve got some funds
Offering a $40 cel-shaded commission
And hoping to get it done…
Before the year is ended
Or if it’s christmasy themed
Before the 25th
That’d be a sweet dream
So either come here to comment
Or simply send me a note
Only taking one right now…
So hurry n’ jump on the boat!

I found the perfect one
that was simply meant for me
But someday we'd like to make it up to you.
We like your art very much I do swear
that starting next year a collab you might bear.

But anyways usually I try to get at least one new ornament...and up with...Iunno, more than that. But anyways I'm closed again for now, but I should open again soon!
