Nothing actually happened, not to me, but I saw enough people have to deal with art (and character) theft that I became too paranoid to post anything. I do still draw, but I haven't put any of it online in a good while.

I'm the same way with my writing, honestly.

I decided at the beginning of this year to be a Japanese-to-English translator, and one half of that is learning Japanese, which so far is going about as well as that can go (the language itself isn't intrinsically HARD to learn, there's just a lot of it to learn), and the other is learning how to write well. The latter is actually a metric fuckton harder than drawing, at least for me.
