current situations + commissions + etc

howdy everyone!
i've been talking about this a bit on twitter but i don't think i mentioned it here; i ended up having to cancel FC and have been in Florida for the past few days. i'll be leaving back for CA tomorrow which i'm NOT LOOKING FORWARD TOO LOL but what can you do
i've been talking with everyone whom i owe badges to for FC, and i was able to either drop them off Thursday before I left or i'll be mailing them out once back in CA. they're all finished already!
other things: commissions are coming along. i'm working on finishing most of the work i have sketched already before moving on to sketch some more, and getting my queue dwindled down as much as possible before school begins. things are going to be a little more tight than usual this semester of school since it's going to be my first year using federal aid and i'll need to go to campus one day more than i did last semester (three days a week as opposed to two, which is a significant difference when your commute is an hour and a half away). i've had to take a lot more time off work than i'd like to recently as well, so financially i'm a little worried and would like to advertise for more commissions, again, once my queue is down more
other than that things have been well! i'm getting increasingly worried about my car which continues to have mechanical problems but there's no way in hell that i can afford a new one so we're just gonna keep hoping it keeps its shit together
i learned the other day that there's apparently a commuter train that runs from my city to my school's city, but it runs at very specific hours so idk if i'd be able to use it. if anything i may be able to use it for my one friday class which i'm sure will still be a lot better than having to pay to fill my tank a third time each week
uhhhh i think that's it! florida has been nice. i've been able to spend time with my partner and some really nice people so it'll be a drag to leave (my partner got really ill and thus why i had to cancel FC and come here instead) but i'm sure i'll be back to visit again soon, finances permitting
