huion monitor tablets?

while i'm saving up for a cintiq companion -- eventually... -- i was considering maybe getting one of huion's monitor tablets to get used to drawing directly on a screen!
i was thinking about something like this:

i've used a regular huion tablet before and loved the pressure sensitivity, but couldn't get pen pressure to work with SAI, which was a big deal breaker for me. how do huion monitor tablets work with SAI? has anyone had issues with them?
and just, in general, are huion's cintiq equivalents comparable to cintiq's themselves, or should i just worry about saving up for a companion and not even bother?

My pen pressure works with sai but i dont remember how i did it.
and tbh i wouldnt bother with huion if you already have another tablet in mind, isnt really worth the hassle imo
