paypal is DICKS :'(
thanks to international issues with country of origin, citizenship, and legal name changes, it's pretty much impossible for me to get a bank account any time soon. this was fine when paypal was playing nice but turns out that after a month it locks itself until you link up a card or a bank account! heck, there's still money in there i cant send to anyone or buy things with. absolutely horrible.
so in the end there is no way for me to take commissions. all the cool paypal alternatives are US-only because international law bs.

Yeah, fair enough. It's pretty volatile at times. So there's no cool paypal alternatives eh? That's lame. :(

Go buy a visa or mastercard 'gift card'. They're the non-reloadable ones. Paypal will accept them as credit cards enough to keep your account active, unless something's changed in the last few years. Long as you can afford the cheapest one you should be good to go.
