2017 Things! Kitties! Megaplex!

Okay guys, with a new year going on and time flying I might as well talk about the two big things happening this year.
Megaplex is go! The theme this year is “Megaquest: The Wrath of Con” which is an homage to the sci-fi actors we lost last year. Think campy scifi like Star Trek and Galaxy Quest. In April I will open up badge preorders so I will have plenty of time to make them this time around. I kept stubbornly refusing to admit that my health problems have slowed me down a little but now I’m taking care and trying to get things back in order. And I’ll also be starting extra early so things go a little more smoothly.
My plan for badges this year is to do the normal ones, and like last year do a special edition that fits the theme. This year that special thing will be badges with holographic film so the image has a translucent sparkly effect.

Gaming for Kitties 2017 is very much going to happen and is already in planning. I would once again like to deeply thank Arty for programming our raffle page and making it the beautiful thing it is. Seriously dude, that thing saved my life.
Kitties is very much barebones right now but we will stick to the same format. There will be prize giveaways and a full 48 hours of fun. Unless something major happens between then and now, Kitties will happen October 28-29.
My plan is to get the donation pages and things all set up after Megaplex, so expect me to really start pushing it in August.
