No i didn't Azure. When i first went under, it was a simple thought in my head. "I was experimented on, I love Rubber, I love tentacles, I love monsters and cock.
The first idea i had was to design a "Wangzilla Creature" Basically a cock with teeth. i liked the Fist concepts so much i began expanding on making it more chaotic. This chaos was deep in my own mind from 10 years of speaking to no one. I was isolated from my own anxieties and decided i had enough and exposed my true self in Aggrobadgers "Spiritual possession".

This is a much more question here regarding the lore, and more precisely the hive mind inhabited by the Bal'Kar and how it can be interpreted by each individual, but here I go:

Is there a minimal amount of freedom that a Bal'Kar can enjoy, and by that I mean how interpretable is the drive to assimilate and spread the gift of the Bal'Kar and if so, is there a level of moderation possible to be interpreted by each of the members of the collective consciousness, or if it is an absolute that must be met with absolute impunity?

Bal'Kar have their own free will, they have a choice, they can decide with cognitive thought that is their own on what to do. The Collective conciousness is of primal nature, like a gut instinct inside you, it can persuade you to do things based on the natural events occurring around you.

Humans also have this collectiveness and ill try provide an example of what i mean:
If a Natural disaster was to occur and lives around you were to be at risk of death and destruction, our natural way would be to help them survive. Before the disaster, you will get a warning on your phone of a threat, think of your phone as a controller for instance. you would start messaging friends and family of said impending disaster. You are communicating to figure out a "Best case scenario" and removing all the obsolete things in life at the time.

Bal'Kar do this on a biological scale and is active within you 100% of the day, not to mention it is active on other subjects, their lust being one of the strongest.
Basically, Bal'Kar have their own "Internet" they can access.

Controlling the will of another individual is always a scary thought. Bal'Kar has control to such a level, that the coded message the Bal'Kar gives an individual before transformation is more like an instant persuasion rather than controlling their will.
