And yeah, people were trying! Google the book name and the pen name and scroll down... A good dozen blog posts since deleted by admins of their various sites trying to be me. I'm also apparently am rated 4.76 out of 5 on another site that I hadn't heard of since then.

Mhmm. I dunno why anyone would even bother with it as I barely sell any...

Moreso for the ego, I guess. They want to feel like they're well known and well liked by everyone, so they find a really kickass and well written story, and just copy paste it to another website, pretend to be author, and hopefully get showered with praise and recognition without having to work for it.

Perhaps. I guess that's just to be expected in the crappy world we live in.

*hugs* It will get better! ^^ Just think, people lIke it well enough to pirate it, and those other websites all thought your story was fucking amazing! They might not have been put there by you, but all those positive reviews and ratings were all for your work. Just imagine what the publisher will think about the book!! :D
