As you may [or may not] know, the status of my XIIIs has been in question, bringing my status as a trusted artist in question. As of this moment, I've decided that I am going to keep the XIIIs. However, there will be some changes.
Ref sheets//base will be redone.
-Aside from any XIIIs that I currently outstanding, XIIIs will be taking on a new form.
*The feral ref--a nod to their inspiration, Nanaki [Red XIII]--will be removed entirely. I will be redoing the feral ref, but it will not be included on the ref sheet as it has been.
*The UPC will be further edited, though placement will remain the same or approximate.
*Feathers will be replaced with... something else. Not entirely sure what, yet. Perhaps feathers of a different sort, with different placement.
*Shackles will remain, though bandage will be replaced with another shackle, perhaps with a small section of chain.
*Fire will remain, though it will be slightly different
They will always be called XIII, that will not change.
What this means for current XIII owners--not much. After I redesign the sheets, I will offer to redo yours to match. This will take me a lot of time and will be done without a charge. It's hardly your fault this is happening, it wouldn't be fair to charge you. I ask for your patience because, quite frankly, these took me a lot of time to begin with, so it will probably take quite some time to redo all of the refs for the XIIIs out in the "wild".
I've yet to hear back from Trusted Artists [to be fair, my note to them wasn't sent all that long ago, so I probably won't hear back from them for a while], but I'm going to assume for the time being that I am no longer a Trusted Artist. Not because I've done something untrustworthy like abscond with money, leave everyone hanging without updates, disappear, etc., but because someone [or someones] have decided that I shouldn't be considered trustworthy because of my XIIIs. Because I will not give up the species I've put so much work into. And that's Ok. They are not comfortable, so I will not force myself upon them, nor will I fight them over it. I've worked very hard to be trustworthy. To keep lines of communication very open, to offer refunds when I know that I am falling behind, to always, always let you all know exactly what's happening. I hope that I've been successful in that. I will be opening up a review thread in the near future so that anyone may leave a review of the service they received, good or bad, from me. And again I'd like to state that, of course my XIIIs resemble Nanaki. They were inspired by Nanaki. This is no secret. They are not a direct copy of Nanaki [for starters, they would all be male d;] And I'd like to reiterate once more here:
When I say that XIIIs are a closed species, I am in no way saying that you are not allowed to create your own Nanaki inspired character. Please, do! Have fun with it! Nanaki is an extremely inspiring character! He looks amazing! Please, knock yourself out! What I am saying, is that you cannot count them amongst my XIIIs. You cannot use their lore, you cannot add them to the breeding pool. Stuff like that. That's all. If your Nanaki-inspired OC gets it on with a XII of the opposite sex, don't expect them to have a bunch of cubs or whatever, because that would go against the lore.

Still have gotten no response to my last note to Trusted Artists. They did remove me from their lists, though, so that answers that question.

You always let us know whats up even if it's something as small as "I've been sleeping a lot and don't know why" to something massive in your life. If people would have read that little thing in there that basically states "Hey make your own XIII's but they wont count among the ones I made and the AU style universe I made for them" That's what it is. People can make others but they cant count them amongst yours. The ones you made I always looked at as being completely outside the FF universes though heavily inspired from them.
I hope that everything calms the fuck down now. No matter what, like I said stamp or no stamp you're still a Trusted Artist in my opinion and I will continue to support you in all your endeavors as I have since meeting you and will still send others your way when they're looking for that unique piece.

This situation is bull, some asshole trying to bring you down. I'm behind you all the way dear and can't wait to see what you make of XIIIs from now on. I'd be interested in getting a GlitchxTox image done at some point as well as perhaps even the first of the second generation freed XIIIs from their union but that's for later once this has been resolved! May be able to get that slight color fix for Glitch too.
