Network sceduel rant.

Recently Netflix added seasons 2 and 3 of the latest Transformers series. I'm a big fan of Transformers and was disappointed to find that between the 2 additional seasons there where only 19 more episodes, season 3 being a paltry 6, insane for network TV. Network schedules are crazy, Cartoon Network carried Transformers and only showed it once a week on Saturday at 7am. Conversely they show Teen Titans Go 159 times a week. Teen Titans Go is a reboot of the late 90/early 2000's Teen Titans show. But as an immature comedy that directly insults old fans. They did one episode that actually said "if your adult you CAN'T like cartoons" and the writers admit they think kids shows should be stupid. But it gets ratings, the fact it's 15 minutes long cheaply animated and shown 318 times a week and they advertise it all day being why. Now Cartoon Network is the worste offender, but most cable networks do the same. They spam certain shows nearly all day long. Nickelodeon spams Spongebob, several networks sapm Law & Order, heck the free broadcast station Ion spams a diffrent network drama every day all day. Seems like no show can't be shown in less than 2 hour blocks. I find it extermly annoying and it only helps accelerate the death of cable, why sit though dozens of episodes everyday of the same shows when you can stream? In my life I seen the death of certain kinds of TV, after school cartoons and Saturday morning are dead and buried I have a feeling I will see the death throws of Network TV.
