Hey everyone,

On sunday the 19th of march we are going to do something special. Thanks to  fauho, we have the opportunity to join the official carnival parade in Mechelen! It's a fun parade through the centre of Mechelen with a lot of spectators.
Unfortunately, because it's an official parade, there are some restrictions:
Only fursuiters can participate on the parade itself. Everyone else is of course very much welcome to watch the parade and, as usual, to join us for dinner and drinks afterwards.
Make sure your suit is well maintained, clean and the fur neatly brushed.
We kindly ask partial suiters to have a nice and fitting outfit, and to make sure no skin is showing.
We hold the right to deny suiters which we believe don't follow these rules and thus are not suitable for this parade. You can always note us if you are not sure wheter your suit is suitable or not.
Lots of people are going to watch the parade, so we want to look at our best and leave a good impression. (We don't want to scare people away. )
Also, expect to be walking around in fursuit for a long time and quite a distance with no breaks in between. Once the parade starts, we can't go back. Keep in mind you have to be physically fit enough to do this. Do not underestimate this. There will be, of course, spotters to accompany us, carrying bottles of water for the suiters.

Practical:
We meet at parking Zandpoortvest at 14h at the latest! Preferably even 15 minutes earlier. (People coming by train, station "Mechelen" is just a 5min walk from there. )
From there, the non suiters can move on to a spot near the parcours where they can wach the parade.
The suiters will go to the St. Romboutscollege where they can get dressed and join the parade.
At 15h11 sharp, the parade will start.
At 18h, when the parade is finished and the suiters have their normal clothes back on, we'll have dinner in restaurant "d' afspraak."
Due to practical reasons, only 20 spots are available for dinner.
Also due to practical reasons, we are asked to limit our menu choices to these four:
- Vol au vent
- Steak with sauce of choice
- Spaghetti
- Salad with goat cheese (Veggie option)

Let us know in a comment below if you want to join for dinner, so we can reserve a spot for you. Also let us know which menu choice you like and wheter you are a fursuiter or not.
