Hey everyone,

In a little more then a week, on Saturday the 7nd of september, there’s again a cosplay festival in the “Japanse tuin” in Hasselt. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet up and have fun in a unique environment, especially for the fursuiters amongst us.

The garden is open from 10:00 a.m. We will be there around noon, but everyone is of course free to drop by whenever they want. The garden is small enough, so it should be pretty easy to spot our group.
Fursuiters and cosplayers enter for free, everyone else need to pay a small entrance fee of €6.

We will take a group picture at 15:00h. Gathering spot will be at the ceremony house next to the pond. Be on time if you want to be on the picture!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This year all photographers who use professional material (DSRL camera’s, lenses, …) need to get a photography-license! This is not necessary if you want to take pictures with a smartphone. More info on the webpage below:

There is parking space nearby at the PXL campus or at the Koning Boudewijnlaan.
It’s also a short walk from the Kolonel Dusartplein for the people coming by public transport. From the train station, take the city bus H3 (direction “Trichterheide”) or line 45 (direction “Maaseik”). Get off at stop “Koning Boudewijnlaan.” Cross the street, take the stairs down and follow the bicycle path to the entrance of the garden.

At 18:00h we will then go to Hasselt, which is a short walk, where we can have dinner at "het Borrelhuis" and have a drink. This is with an open end, everyone is free to leave whenever they want.
If you like to join us for dinner, please subscribe by leaving a comment below, so we can reserve places for the right amount of people. (Max. 15 spots) Due to this, we do expect you to come if you subscribe.
Also, to help out the restaurant, we were asked to keep our menu choices limited. If you like to join for dinner, please make your choice from the list below, so we can let the restaurant know in advance what we will order.
