Classic-Style FPS "Strafe" Delayed
General
If you're a fan of classic FPS games (and you must be if you're checking out this club), you might have been interested in Strafe, an old-school-FPS/roguelite hybrid that bears a certain degree of resemblance to the original Quake (though it's much more colorful).
Unfortunately, according to this Gamespot article, the game's been pushed back to May 9th for no clear reason. The publisher hand-waved it away with some joke about "missing polygons."
So yeah, if you're looking for more retro FPS action (and just in time for Doom 2016's first anniversary), check out Strafe in May, for PC and PS4.

Jeez, talk about old-school. I just skimmed through the things available in it, and it seems a little reminiscent of the game Vivisector: Beast Within, with you being able to carry and throw items, gibs being torn off enemies, and items and ammo in boxes that need to be opened into in order to get them.

I always meant to play Vivisector, but I could never track it down, and it probably doesn't work great on modern systems.

I'm not sure about my current rig, but my last rig managed to run a crack of it fine. Considering its very, very limited release in Europe and nowhere else, I'd suggest just finding a download of it somewhere.

Yeah, the demo I tried ages ago was in German, from what I recall. Not exactly user-friendly. XD

Saw their stream, game was extremely unstable, and I could understand why they delayed it.

Oh really? Gee, you'd think such a simple-looking game wouldn't be that much of a hassle to bugtest.
