I've been lying awake for awhile thinking about a friend of mine, now ex friend. We've been friends for 6 years or so, and he was figuratively my brother away from home.

After I graduated high school, I left the church because the class I was moving up to had people who weren't really interested in me. My welcoming committee consisted of everyone trying to get away from me as fast as possible, and that made me really uncomfortable. So, I opted to stay in town, but I tried keeping in contact with my friend after I left and... He never answered the phone. He never returned my calls, and he never tried to meet back with me...
Shortly after, he abandoned my brother he still had contact with, and the shittiest part about it is that I don't know why.

It's been keeping me awake and I'm tired of it.
