I know how you feel, I had to put my dog down just last week... stay strong, it'll hurt but know s/he's going to a better place <3

It will be weird not having a dog in the house to great you.. he's not old but his hips gave out and he can't walk and refuses to eat..

Yeah that's how my dog was... She was really arthritic and had a bad heart murmur. It's weird not seeing or hearing her now :C

Aww, that stinks.... sorry to hear that. I've had a few dogs that had to be put down. *ears droop*

I had to put his sister down last summer.. I have to bring him early in the morning.. so I'll have a poopy day

I'm so sorry you need to do that. Losing a huge part of your family, and well, your life can be very hard to deal with.
It's best to think about the good that can come out of it. Your sweet puppy has lived a happy life with you, loved each
and every day and has wagged their tail millions of times.

Just because their curtain has come to a close doesn't mean that they didn't have a beautiful, intricate show. As they
pass on they thank you for every treat, every kiss on the snout, every 'good boy!' you gave. And they will now be able
to look down on you, be by your side even though you can't see them.

Even though they have to move on, doesn't mean that it's sad. They will be able to be free from any pain or old age problems
they may have and will be able to chase sticks and romp around in whatever wonderful place you believe in.

I'm so so sorry about this loss. I had a dog whose hips similarly gave out. It's an awful and sudden way to have to come about putting your friend down, though I guess it always comes as a shock regardless of the circumstances. Take it easy, please try and keep yourself busy after tomorrow if you can; I found it made the pain easier when I was preoccupied with art or school. I hope the best for you.
