Character Bits Part 7
Hey guys. Here's my newest journal featuring random bits of info about my guys. Hope you enjoy:
Remmy's not just the pickiest eater you can imagine, he's also a bad cook. His attempts at cooking tend to end in results that range from average-out-of-pure-luck to downright disasters, and he's far more used to "cooking" by using the oven than by using the stove top because it's far easier and less likely to fail. It's one of the reasons he loves the cooking competition "Worst Cooks in America", because he can relate to the contestants. And ironically, despite how bad he is as a cook, he's a genuinely good baker when it comes to desserts and the like.
Mason is a self-admitted dirty old man and is always on the lookout for attractive young ladies to have sex with, but his age and grizzled looks make him rather unpopular with many a young lady. His solution for that tends to be college girls, as he has found they tend to give him more of a chance, be it as initiation dares for sororities, or as ways to try to reduce his fee when he fixes things at dorms, or him swooping in if he overhears a lady being mad at her inattentive jock boyfriend and wanting payback, since as Mason puts it, "young guys should be spoiling their gals rather than doing drunken bullshit with their friends", and he's more than willing to show how better he is at pleasing women than drunken fratboys.
Because he grew up mainly in the farm with just his father and occasional farmhands keeping him company, Freddy grew up mostly with no women around, except for the times he'd stay over with his mom alongside his brother Wayne. As such, not only is Freddy a bit of a mama's boy around his mom, as he absolutely adores her and cherishes any time spent with her, but at the same time he's got no clue what to talk about with women in general and is painfully shy and awkward if trying to engage one in conversation.
Wayne always gets rather uncomfortable when anyone asks him what he plans to work on once his job as a model ends, seeing as how models come and go and agencies stick with younger people. The reason Wayne gets uncomfortable is because even he has no idea what he'd do once his job as a model ends, and is still trying to figure it out.
Cyrus actually owns a set of leather gear, including chaps, harness and the like, gifted to him by a couple of friends/customers who are into that, and he often gets invited to go to leather focused parties or activities, but he always makes up an excuse to never attend, be it family matters, job matters or anything convenient. Turns out that Cyrus just isn't into the leather thing at all and even found the gear rather uncomfortable, but he doesn't want his friends to know because he feels it would be like insulting them on their gift to him.

*smirks* Mason's logic is impeccable. And I am totally behind him getting one over on those arrogant and entitled fratboys.
Awwww...Freddy is such a darling, he really is.
Poor Wayne...I hope he can figure things out. Maybe one of my guys can help him think of something, even get him a job. If he's good at cooking at all, or can learn, there's Garry's bakery...or maybe he can work at Nieve's library.
Hah now I see why you wanted Cyrus's bit to remain secret. Fitting considering the bit itself is something he keeps secret. Well...I'll respect his choice if he really isn't into it. But I can say he'd look superhot in the gear (especially if he combined the harness with his kilt), and both Blake and Nieve would love to see him in it at least once.
Yeah, Mason justified getting together with a girl who has a boyfriend if the boyfriend's an inattentive idiot who won't tend to her needs.
Aww, thanks. Freddy really is the most darling out of all my guys in terms of basic nature and personality.
Wayne hopes he can figure it out too, but even now his basic personality and go get in the way, and the idea of going from a model to someone working at a "place that serves food" makes him shudder. He can be such an ass. XD
Yeah, he just can't deal with the leather stuff, he finds it restrictive and like he can't pull it off, and he especially thinks the hats are ridiculous and tacky. If any friends wanna see him wear it, who knows, it could take a lot of goading.
Yeah I can see that happening with Wayne. Well if he tried that shit with Garry he'd regret it. The snow leopard may be amiable and kind, but he brooks no nonsense when it comes to his kitchen, or anyone disparaging his line of work.
*smirks* The hats can be a bit silly, yeah. And well, we'll just have to see if Nieve or Blake can goad him enough...
And yeah, Wayne can get that kind of reaction from people at times, he tends to forget that he's not some sort of superior gift to furry kind. Hence why he needs the occasional proverbial kick in teh ass to get back down to earth.
And we'll see about if that goading can be successful or not, won't we?
He kind of is a gift, but only when he can keep his mouth shut and keep his ego in check. :P Luckily not only can Garry give that kick, he's still such a kind-hearted guy he'd be sure to forgive Wayne (at least more easily than the rest of my guys, especially Blake and Nieve). So maybe he can be a good friend that the hyena really needs.
We will indeed.
