Although the animated Beast is definitely bigger and stronger, the new beast when he is shirtless, is definitely hot!

His pecs are very big and furry. His arms could be stronger. He is in bed in this scene, so ya... I'll leave it at that

There is no real vision behind it besides "Let's do it again, but with CG this time.". The Jungle Book remake was mediocre enough for me, I don't need to see more of these.

Although we probably won't get around seeing the CG Lion King when it comes out

Actually some new stuff is added. It isn't much, mostly filling in plot holes that have bugged fans for yours, adding more depth and characterization by giving more backstory for Belle and Beast, a few more songs (all good IMO, but two of them are especially heartbreaking), some new characters, and changing one character's arc completely. But aside from that it still looks amazing!

Also: while I do prefer the animated Beast, the final version of the CGI one is actually still pretty good. I think some of those earlier images were from before it was perfected.

Maybe I'll watch it. I don't have high expectations, so at least I won't be too disappointed

Yes, there were, although admittedly minor ones related to the duration of the curse, how much time passes during the movie, and some other ones. You'll understand when you see it, I think.

The problem with the new beast is that he doesn't have a lion like muzzle. His nose is too human like.

Paige O Hara was also a lot better as Belle, least for me :o
