I have been planning to use this to make my toony gryphon as a matter of recycling already bought materials.
I have the jaw springs and the rest of the parts.
I did paint the eyes today, and did a crappy job...but blank eyes are something like $5 from DVC, and you can get 1 1/2 inch acryllic half balls off of ebay easily.
(You probably already have some lying around.) I can toss these eyes in if you want them.

But I have been thinking I want him more toony and less realistic..And I would have to do significant changes to the resin to make those changes.
It would probably just be easier to make a foam head at this point, since I have a foam beak already.

I used thier big cat blank for my first resin head, they are pretty easy to work with and are high quality.

I've done a couple of resin heads (one was a refurb) Perfectly suited for realistic heads. The adhesives used are slightly different, but the challenge is making the hard mask comfortable to wear on the face.
I prefer to use pre-made foam bases for semi-realistic and sculpted foam for toony heads.
