Ok, so, I had a minor pose as an adult to commission me and fraudulently use their mother's credit card, the paypal case has been in review for over a month and it is still not resolved, and if the case is not found in my favor I will loose the spent deposit and face some financial worry.
As a precaution I wish to cover said funds now and thus I will be open to give quotes to potential new clients from now to June 8th, I will then select my lucky new clients June 9th. (This opening is a bonus opening, my usual opening in August is still happening.)
For a quote email me at thebeastcub[at]gmail.com please only email me if you are ready to commit to being a client and are able to put in a deposit at this time (bare minimum $330 for a head)
When you message me have the subject line of the email be a brief description of your character (example "Rufus the red and white lion") and be sure to include reference art of your character :)

I have a quick question about copyrighted characters. I see on your price/terms page that you are not accepting specific cosplay characters, but less specific ones might be okay. Does that mean that a random character from a copyrighted race, like a tauren from WoW, would be acceptable?

oh Taurens are just fine as they are technically visually a Minotaur and standard mythical animals are just fine to make, I just can't call it a Tauren when I debut it (and I actually really like making bovines, working on a "minotair" right now) Now Pikachu however I can't just make and not call it Pikachu as that is distinctly not a standard animal or mythical creature.

Well, I was just using tauren as an example because WoW is fairly well known. The race I was actually curious about were the Charr from Guild Wars 2. Specifically this guy here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16715807/ Think that would be acceptable?

hmmm I think with that species the defining feature that makes it copyright vs cat hybrid is the second set of ears, if I omit those I should be fine.

This answered my question... I would love a charr suit as well.. damn! This opportunity seemed to good to miss as well.
