Hey all, I'm back home FWA safe and sound. It was a great con, I had a blast talking to friends, fursuiting and working in artist alley.
Our arrival down went pretty soon too. Though my con experience wasn't without it's frustrations. I had pre registered and then my information just totally disappeared. Last time I forget to print off the receipt that's for sure. Luckily we still got pre-registration pricing but, I wasn't happy especially after waiting till the next morning to register.
While some of the moving around they did was good this year I think there were other things that didn't necessarily need to be moved. Also think there was some communication issues that needed to be worked out with the staff. We got the run around trying to find the artist alley Thursday. First they told us it was down stairs and dealers den staff told us it was upstairs then staff members on the Marquise level told us that it was downstairs again. Finally we looked it up ourselves and found it. While the new space was nice the hassle of dealing with the elevators was a little annoying at times.
There were a few times toward the evening that I let
Blasterblurby guide me so we could avoid the elevators and give Mattie the night off. Since we were mostly doing artist alley and suiting around at those times it was just easier that way.
Working the AA was a much better experience this year. There was quite a bit of interest in my work and I actually sold something this year. WOO! It was enough to get that other t-shirt from
stablercake in the den.
Also Friday morning after I got registered I got suited up and we went to the
CityMuttFursuits photoshoot. It was my first group photoshoot and it was cool, it was great meeting the other suiters and one customer I ended up chatting with in the AA later that day. My only wish is that we'd of known where all the elevators were. I ended up having to climb some stairs once and while it worked out it was a bit nerve racking if I'm honest. Though from what I've seen of the photos they came out great and was totally worth it.
Suiting wise I took it pretty easy this year, listening to my knee and ankle. Though I didn't really have to stop because of my knee but, on the first evening. There were a few times it did let me know if I was doing something it didn't like, especially during the rave Saturday night. I was really glad that I hadn't started really moving yet when we encountered a jerk dragon in the rave. We likely would of had his con badge before we were done if I'd of fallen over or otherwise had gotten hurt because of them. We were pretty angry after that.
Overall the rave was fun, the music was great and just suiting in general was a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to suiting more in the near future. Hopefully soon I'll get my mods to my bodysuit completed and I won't lose my pads anymore.
Overall it was a great con. I had a great time hanging out, suiting, chatting with friends and fellow artists. There were some friends I either missed entirely or only got to see for a short moment or two though it was a fun overall maybe next time we'll get to hang out more.

FA+

I promise next year I will 100% do just that because i was super stoked to see you there.
Overall I am glad you had fun and I look forward to seeing you at meets and stuff and another round of FWA.
We might have to set up a meeting time/place next year. It was good seeing you in artist alley too.
How was your con experience? Have fun?
That and I wish i got a pic with ya.
I attended some panels and adventured around with a few friends, along with making a few friends, I also got alot of pictures which I really need to upload. I will be honest I do feel a bit of PCD but nothing major.
But all in all I had fun It was a fantasy come true and I hope to return again. Next year will be even more special
I promise I'll be hanging with ya.
By the way if your coming to the Picnic meet in Charlotte I'd be happy to chat and possibly do some stuff with ya
Glad you got to go out and experience the con. My first year I went to so many panels, they're always fun. I ended up not getting to too many of them this year though there weren't that many that really caught my attention anyways...
Glad to hear the PCD isn't too bad for you, I have a pretty mild case of it myself. I think it helps knowing that there are some future meets coming up to help with that.
Sounds good. I don't know if I'll be going yet but, if I do definitely.
But I look forward to the upcoming meets, Maybe we can help get rid of PCD together haha.
Same, I'd be up for that XD
Also I heard you might have a Telegram, we should totally chat on There
The elevators were a huge frustration and we were on the 24th floor. Something We did was ride the elevator to the 31st floor which was easier to get a ride then walk down to our floor. Though unfortunately on the last day we had two broken elevators and it took us 30 minutes to make it to the Atrium level! We were carrying all our luggage and it was super cumbersome.
Glad to know you made it back safe and hope to chat with you again at another con!
Oye that sounds rough especially with the big crowds. I hope after all that you got a chance to relax. Hope the rest of the trip home went smooth.
After we went to the Hilton we haven't gone back mostly cause of the elevators, just less stressful.
With all the back and forth in the Marriott this year we had to do this year I wished Mattie could do escalators.
Kinda~ we parked at the airport so we had to ride the train from Peachtree center to the airport. But it wasn't so bad the trip back wore me out.
Anyways if you ever want to talk just go ahead and message me too! When ever you want or got time~
Sounds like that was a bit of a adventure. I'm glad you got home safe at least.
Ok Will do!
