Hey all, life has been crazy to say the least. However I will start with something good.
I've taken up horseback riding. I found a nice stable, M&L Farms is absolutely awesome. They take excellent care of their horses and they provide a lot of different styles, western, english huntseat, saddleseat, and dressage. Since starting it I can tell already that it's making a huge difference in my leg. I get to work with a sweet treat hungry boy named Dollar. I've learned some of the maintenance, getting comfortable on his back and last lesson I got to do a bit of solo steering. Tomorrow I have another lesson and I'm super excited.
Now for some of the bad news, my grandfather ended up in the hospital, he's home now and recovering, and I won't go into the ordeal that lead up to it, just going to say I'm frustrated with my grandparents at the moment. Then ontop of that frustration we discovered there's black mold in the house. Looks like I know why my asthma got worse and why I've gotten so sick. So many things I've been like what's wrong with me, have basically been answered now. Now I'm trying to figure out a evac strategy while hopefully it gets addressed who knows. I just know I can't stay put.
At the moment I'm taking a few days break from twitter to try and have one less stressor on my plate. It's been hard but, I'd already fallen so far off my posting schedule i wasn't really doing anything but, beating myself up. I'm hoping the little 'detox' will allow me to get back in the groove of working on art and bringing some good things into my life. I do have some cool pieces coming and I think Skillshare will help me with it.
Now another positive, I've been trying since July to get a twitch channel up. I'm still working out the bugs but, my internet ping went from .2 to 38 since getting a new modem so I'm hoping my video issues shall be worked out and I'll be able to have some fun, play games, do art and build a nice community, maybe help others along the way. Though Im planning mostly on the fun. However I did join Extra Life Extra Life works with children's miracle network hospitals to improve the lives of the families undergoing treatments. My goal is to raise $100 for Duke Children's hospital. Without Duke I probably still wouldn't have a diagnosis for my eyes, I wouldn't be living my life because of my migraines, my leg wouldn't be on the road to recovery and a lot of my neurological issues wouldn't be addressed, so it's a good way to help the kiddos and give back to a hospital that has done so much for me. When I feel like I've gotten the visual bugs figured out (primarily internet related) I shall try to advertise it and my schedule here though my twitters and instagram stories would be the best place to get notifications CoastlCreature
Also the Fab Sphynx Gumroad Fundraiser] is still live my goal is still $100 and I am a long way from it.
On another note, Mattie is having surgery this week, it's relatively minor there's a benign cyst that's gotten a little big and we're removing it for her comfort and to prevent it possibly turning cancerous.
Think that's all the updates other than there should be some cool art coming, some new stickers will be going up on Gumroad, some benefiting me, some benefitting others.Though yeah some good things ahead to share here.
