Actaeon taking over Tim O'Rourke (TOR)'s FA account
8 years ago
To whom it may concern:
As many of you know, Tim O'Rourke (aka "TOR") passed away on October 30, 2016. My name is
Actaeon, and since FA has not yet marked Tim's account "deceased," I have decided to upload his remaining artwork here, as best I can. I'm sorry it's taken so long, but Tim and I lived too far apart for us to visit regularly, and it's taken several trips to get his affairs in order. More work remains.
Tim and I met in 1997 and quickly became friends, due to our mutual love of wildlife, biology and artwork (especially deer), as well as many other shared interests. I designed and managed his first online art gallery and assisted with technical support as he became more computer-savvy. Tim gave me access to this account for tweaking and troubleshooting, and I believe he would approve of my being here and uploading the rest of his artwork, but if anyone has concerns, please let me know, either on this journal or via e-mail: actaeon2005 at Gmail.
Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your time.
A remarkable gentleman, he spoke several times of his admiration of my little works, although I fandoed over his. I will treasure his brief experience and ask the great Spirit to watch over him now.
Thanks for doing it and, as always, very sorry for your loss.

Adding my condolences, and thanks.
Im so sorry to hear this and thabm you for being here to help with his remaining affairs.
(hugs)
I've known him long time, so sad to know he passed away :(
90's were the years there was hardly any feral stuff, I remember all these pieces in the past.
Thank you Actaeon! All this art would probably have never been seen by the World if you don't upload them. And it is really great to see sketches and unfinished pieces, those give a rare insight into his art.
His equine pieces were among the first ones in my own collection more than a dozen years ago, and I think they contributed too to the fact that I'm an artist myself today.
Good journey and fair finds, Tim!
You'll be missed..
