Anthrocon Post Con Report

Lets start this out with the short version of events and emotions. Those are as follows:
YAY! WHAT? WTF? SWEET!!!! COOL! Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep ... WTF?!?! HUGS! GIGGLE! EPIC WIN! FLAWLESS VICTORY! FUN! AWWWWW!! Cries! wave bye.... Not Again! Cries! Wave bye again.... PDC! YAY GUNZ! OH SHIT! Oh Fuck ...... Oh God ....... Oh no...... OKAY! Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep ..... *zombie* HOME!
And now for the explination...
YAY We are on the way to AC!!!
WHAT do you mean Leo and his mate are in the bathroom of this random gas station we drove into?
WHAT THE FUCK how did we end up like this and are you heading to AC?
COOL LETS GO! *Two cars driving cross country now turn to THREE*
After most of the day on the road we meet up with Sharaye and get food parting ways with Imperial and Kurisu whom head north. After a long delay on I-65 we SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
Waking up after a few hours we get back on the road only to find Leo and Kuri are actually right next to us again having slept the same amount of time in a different place to end up having all of us finish the trip to ANthrocon.
Now for the con itself. I got to see all my cubs again rooming with Jester, Raven, and Kitren in my room with Kae, Sharaye, Tristan, Charles, and Relena in the room next to us.
As usual the list of furs that I met are too heavy and insane to count. Names of special note other than the above are Thrashbear for finally getting to see again. Goliath for taking one for the team. Maxis and PanPan for giving me joint custody of my boy. *snuggles* Goldenwolf and Firr for the migration to the family by popular demand. Kingdom and BabyTiger for the fun times at Random. And Especially for the star of this con ... Alex for not only getting to his first ever convention but for making it more memorable and fun than I could have ever expected. You really made the con fun for a lot of people.
Now on to the Epic Win of the year. Last year Omni wanted to do a Video to my song Furs on Second Life. We did and the response went over so well I wanted to see how far we could push it. So we talked to a few key people and Omni did all the work preparing and getting the video set and ready. Ordered jumpsuits and everything. So here I am chatting away and this guy walks up to me and says "Corsi .... You know I will get even with you right?" .... I am stunned and just staring at the guy like .... Um What'd I do? ... Yeah then he shows off the badge that says Dragoneer.
Fuck ....
I'm caught....
Yes the song we were ready and prepped to do was THE SITE IS A LIE! And perform it we did with the help of Omni, Bigfox, Aww, and (insert name here cause I forget . It's late.) At the Masquerade it went over so well I could not believe it. The timing was perfect by all involved and the fursuits came out and did better than we thought they would.
I saw how everything went and here I am home now just PRAYING that the video comes out flawlessly. And I hear that I am getting asked to top it for next year. God only knows what I am going to do. We have to think of something.
Oh and if you like Sushi ... There is this place down the street that is just FUCKING DIVINE!!! Poke me next year about the trip over there so we can set up a good migration to the place.
I think the only bad thing this year was that I was not able to suit nearly as much as I wanted to due to my back and knee both of which were going out before the con and went out at the con. Extra thanks to Kae and Shar for helping almost carry me back to the headless after that Parade.
Speaking of the headless ... Last year I bitched about the headless and that the con was not attending to the needs of the suiters. That has just changed. I saw more fans in there than ever before. But it cold still do with a better AC unit. May I suggest portable AC units with an exhaust to just get RID of the heat from in there. Water was plentiful and I was a very pleased mouse. Much better job this year.
Most of this years AC I spent with my family. I really needed it. So the aww and cries were when we had to leave. What made it harder was after the heart warming speech Maxis gave to me and that panpan didn't mind letting him stay in the family so I could be his mommy too ... Right after I left and swallowed my heart back into my chest after saying goodbye to everyone I stayed with, Maxis was there as I pulled up to the Westin and I was sent crying again saying goodbye.
We took off and started the drive back to the house. We bought new Airsoft pistols and started having fun shooting car to car to car on the way home with Kurisu, Wynd and Myself as Pilots.
Until .....
So we all start getting tired. I figure we can do the same as last time. Get a well lit space on the road and pass out for like three hours Continue on. So we are pulled over and play with the Airsoft. Wynd and Orim still have welts on them.
Leo runs up and offers us floorspace with them so everyone but Orim and Jester head up for sleep. They stay with the cars to make sure nothing happens to them. Five minutes later the POLICE show up and put them in cuffs. We didn't know this and Wynd walks out to them with another Airsoft in his belt walking to the cop. He gets cuffed too. I walk out with Russell without pistol plastic and we get things straightened but not until after a cop litterally manhandled Jester and nearly broke his nose against the side of my Explorer. IN the end we got home no arrests and just a random misunderstanding incident with the toys stuffed in the backs of the cars. I would go into great detail but from everything we could make out, the police did react correctly about everything that went on. Jester remembered moving quickly and thus getting 'Controled' while Orim stayed still and was just cuffed.
No cuffs on me YAY.
It turns out that they were told we were a random gang wearing bandana's and were getting ready to rob the neighborhood. I was the only one wearing a Skullcap and it was fucking PINK. And I had a nice pink cowbitch hat on after anyway. So yeah I guess we are some new faction of the Crypts and the Bloods called the Blyps or ....... Nothing.
In the end we got home safe sound and loaded.
Ending thoughts ...
WOW that was fun. Next year I love the Doubletree and all but fuck that I am getting a place at the Westin.

I cant wait to see the mascarade, I still cant belive i crabed your *censured* on stage, i need to see it for my self to belive!

Everything else sounds super awesome. Wish I could have made it to AC to see everyone.
But Seriously, You gotta be more careful with those guns! Kitkit is coming to get you for it now, and he has a message from me that has to be delivered in person!
