I remember that it was in the works. "Aliens in the Attic" should be out soon and Alvin & the Chipmunks II (the Squeakquil) should be released in Dec.

yeah I know I kinda wish they would do it though I love the game series. Though with an April 1st 2009 release date it could have been an april fools joke but it would have cost them alot just by looking at the video quality and what they did to make it. I am hoping it would be released...it almost like the parasite eve movie they have one but it was only on dvd and not many people knew about it.

From the number of responses in German, it also could have been a foreign release, though I doubt it. I have no sound, so I couldn't hear what it was in. The franchise is Japanese. That clip could have been put together (or just from) on of the games too.

yeah. it coulda been a thousand times better. to me the movie feels a bit rushed. so if i were you, i'd w8 until the dvd release or i would go to like one of those $1.50 movie theatres that cater to the movies that are already past. if you have one of those in your neighborhood.
