I don't want to go into too much detail, because it's all still pretty upsetting to me and I'm trying to stay calm and focused and get done what I need to get done, but in a nutshell..... I am homeless now. My fiancee and I have been staying with a friend while looking for a place to live in the state we're moving to, and about two days ago he decided to inform us that his lease ends on the first and we have to be gone. He gave no prior warning. My fiancee and I have been packing up what little we brought with us to his place and putting it into storage, and by Wednesday we'll be in a hotel for a few days, then staying in a friend's house for a week to take care of their pets while they're on vacation. After that.... we don't know what we'll do, it's all up in the air. While we're house-sitting we will have to board our cats, as one of the homeowners is allergic and they requested we don't bring them. One of our cats is a nervous type and has separation anxiety problems, so at the very least I have to go visit him in the kennel as often as I can until we can get them back. We were supposed to be moved out of state by now, but finding a place has proven to be a lot more difficult than we thought. There is even the chance we have to give up our other cat entirely just to increase our chances of finding a new home, but we're doing all in our power to avoid that because our pets are extremely important to us and the very thought of doing that hurts us both deeply. The entire situation is very upsetting...

I don't know if I'll have access to my computer in the places we'll be staying. If I do, I'll be working on my commission queue and trying to get them done ASAP so you don't have to wait until I move to get your work. If I'm unable to set up my computer at the hotel or the house we're tending to, well..... unfortunately, commissions will have to wait until I've moved entirely. I don't know when that'll be, but we're doing everything in our power to make sure it's as soon as possible. With luck, we'll have finally found a place by the 10th, when our house-sitting gig is over. If not... well we'll just have to wait and see...

As you can imagine, money is a serious concern in all this. I've been saving money for this move for a while, but the situation we're in now is going to cut into that, obviously. I don't want to do this, since I still have outstanding commissions, but if you could consider ordering a commission or custom adoptable or showing your friends my commission/closed species ads or Commissio page ( https://commiss.io/junkpiles ), it would be REALLY appreciated.

Please keep in mind that the wait on these new commissions will be longer than my usual wait time due to my current situation and my existing commission queue.

If I had known this situation was going to rear its ugly head I would've pushed myself to work on my outstanding commissions even when I didn't feel like I could. I feel so guilty that people have waited as long as they have already and now I've been put in this situation that might force them to wait longer. I'm very sorry. Life has just been one unfortunate event after another for me lately and it's really impeded my work...

06/07/17: We have three days left of the house-sitting gig and still no signs we'll be able to move out of state like we wanted. We've been trying to find a place to move to in our chosen state for two months now and fail at every turn because of one thing or another. This means we're going to have to go stay with yet another person, and they are also allergic to cats so they have to continue to be boarded. I'm upset and at a complete loss. This stuff is digging into my moving fund and has made me slip under the amount I wanted to save for moving, but there's nothing I can do about it...
