Back from the Nord!

As I promised I wrote a journal of my time in Canada, but not about everything. ^^' I got too tired during the week to really have the energy to even get my laptop out of it's bag and type. Well, below is what when on for the first 4 days.
Canada Journal
July 4th – July 11th
July 4, 2009
Drive to Canada started at 6:30am EST (Eastern Standard Time) and ended at 11pm AST (Atlantic Standard Time). So the total time was 16 hours; that included breaking, stopping for gas, and swapping drivers. And at about 9:50pm AST we were so low on gas we only had about 15 minutes of driving left and we had an hour to go. The time we thought the gas stations were going to be closed was at 10pm. So we rushed our asses off to get to it, but there was a slow-ass driver in front of us. It took us about 3-4 minutes to get to the station and after getting the gas we found out that it closed that night at 11pm.

Woke up at 8am AST and went to mass that was totally in French Canadian. I went with my mom and step-dad, but I was the only one who could understand anything the priest was saying and what was sung in the hymns. Most of the day was uneventful. Had a fire late at about 11pm and the sun was still setting. How cool is that!

Sorry for not writing anything about the 6th. It was a crappy day and not much to talk about. So for today, the 7th, it was very fun but not quite so. ^^' Hehe, we've been swimming at the college pool and they kicked us out for not only speaking French, when it was them who let us in knowing that not all of us could speak French. Hours later after dinner and after I drank a drink a lil too fast I got a major headache from it and now here I am sitting, drinking water and eating crackers. More updates will come later in the evening!
Back again! Got my Smirnoff twisted raspberry in hand and it is 11:12pm. Tired as fuck. Want to sleep but I'm so awake at the same time. Right now NCIS is on and I find it kind of entertaining, especially since no one else has returned home and I'm bored as hell. Now, only a couple minutes later they come home, how annoying is that. Well I'm off to go have a fun time on the beach making a fire and stuffs. Later guys!
