Jeez, and Grand Prix Las Vegas

Hey, my dear floofs.
I had a great time at GP Las Vegas this past weekend. Met a metric buttload of kind and generous souls, including a pair of incredibly sweet furry souls, and it made me wonder how many furries are into Magic: the Gathering. Are there many Magic players in the fandom?
I played a bunch back in the day! Made it to a tourney on the Queen Mary back in the 90s. ^^

The mix of people at my table broke into two broad categories: one being the Old School folks (those who grew up with Magic in the 90s) and New School (post Kamigawa, mostly). It was neat seeing little or no bias between them. I'm probably too used to seeing division these days.
I play Magic sometimes at a local gaming shop thingy. Kinda taking a break at the moment, though.

There's a bunch of them out there, at most bigger cons it's rare for there not to be a game going in the game rooms. Also a couple of chats on Telegram. I, myself, am an L1 judge.

I used to play a lot, I still have all my cards, but it was too much of a drain on my wallet to keep playing. I still like building the occasional Commander deck.

I also know you're excellent company, as is Sasha; and you two were treasures for helping me and Liz, especially Liz. I can't recall if I told you but she said to me afterwards: "Those two friends of yours? They were incredibly kind for giving me so much help." She really appreciated all that you two did for her!
