I hear ya :( I'll admit, I'm not in a physically draining job, but I work 40-50 hours a week in an office setting as a designer and then work upwards of 40-70 more hours of art at home, leading to weight gain and pain. The long days do make it hard to do any hobbies! But ya gotta make ends meet for the time being, and I try to see everything as temporary, just as you are. The biggest key is finding a way to live within your means - my partner and I are seeking out a rural community with space to grow food and more affordable albeit run down homes. Where there's a will, there is a way, depending on what things can be sacrificed - like you noted in your journal about renting a room as opposed to a full apartment. It CAN be done, if you are happy with less!

...Hard lesson I'm learning now that I'm 30, you young people are getting it a lot sooner xD;
